The department is a structural unit of the University and the Educational and Scientific Law Institute, which conducts educational and methodical work in a number of related subjects and carries out research in certain areas.

The department provides lectures on academic disciplines for full-time and part-time students of the Bachelor’s and Master’s OS. The educational-professional program on specialization ‘Public service’ for applicants of a Master’s degree provides in-depth study of profile educational subjects and formation of professional competences.
The educational process is fully provided with educational and methodical and informational material, which is constantly developed and improved by teachers of the department.
Students’ research is carried out in the way of their participation in scholarly work under the guidance of teachers in accordance with the theme of the department research. There are two students’ research clubs at the department. As a result students take part in many research competitions including scholarship programs, student scientific conferences and others.
At the Educational and Scientific Law Institute there is an educational and methodical classroom of the Department of Constitutional, International and Administrative Law, where traditionally Master’s degree students have classes and meetings of students’ research clubs are held.
Teachers of the department take part in various scientific conferences, under their guidance reports for university student conferences are prepared.
